NZ cam do what they like .... though I question how it is appropriate for many non Maoris in the team to perform a Maori ceremony .... but the opposition should have no requirement to engage with it whatsoever.
Alternatively they should be allowed to 'respond' in their own way.
I'd suggest each player gets hold of a ball & when the dance is finished pump it into the assembled dancers head high.

The haka is supposed to be a 'challenge' which the opposition are supposed to 'respond' to. It has also become increasingly insulting with ever-more tongue-poking and throat-slitting gestures.
The problem is, every time an opposition team does 'respond' to it, they get fined or otherwise sanctioned. It's now just a bunch of insults that puts opposition teams on the back foot because they are expected to just endure it in silence.
It really has to go.

Seeing that we have taken over the No 1 slot from the All Blacks, does this mean we have to do a Riverdance before every game? Is a little pre-match dance only for the worlds No 1 team, or will the All Blacks continue their tiresome pre match nonsense ?

Yeah, our bowling has gone backwards since we've had Mascarenhas and Jurgenson as our bowling coaches.
In fact, we've gone backwards as a team in the last year.
Maybe the McCullum effect?

it's a bizarre piece of behaviour by any stretch of the imagination. I should imagine Teagan sent him away 'dry' and it still wasn't enough.
Also, it's one thing to be an anonymous professional sportsman and have a shag with a groupie and something completely different to be an AB and do it in a very public place. He's either not clever or has a different problem all together.
Anyway, I'd be giving you more shit for getting pummelled in India if we weren't going there shortly. I'm watching the first ODI at the prettist cricket ground on the planet and all your bowlers seem to think landing the ball in the middle of the pitch is a good idea.
I did that once in a Surrey 2nd team game against Glamorgan. 40 minute bowling ssssion, and Geoff Howarth ordered me to bang it in. No batting carnage, but I was escorted out to the middle after play had finished by the coach and shown where a poor length was, and where a good length was.
At least that pitch wasn't bright green.

I'm not sure what's going on with them, and to be honest, I don't want to know either. Happy for them to sort it all out in private.
He does have a bit of form actually....there was the stripper, and he also accidentally sent a dick pic to someone by mistake I think too....a rather impressive one by all accounts.
But, he's had his disciplinary hearing this week, and has stood himself down from the match on Sunday, which I reckon is as big a punishment as you could dish out to an AB - miss out on taking part in a (hopefully) historical victory.
